Now J thinks he is a proper eventer, he seems to be practising his jumping skills at home....without my assistance

He went out last night in one field, went to get him in this morning, only to find him in a different field, looking very smug

I then went to skip him out at lunchtime today, couldn't find the skip so just pushed the wheelbarrow (quite large one!) in front of the door. As soon as I was at the back of the stable he did a perfect jump over the wheelbarrow, landed on the yard and cantered off into the field, bucking and squealing as he went! He did the neatest jump I have seen him do!

Little horror - next he will be jumping over the stable door no doubt

Oh no, Oshk does that, its a bugger when you can't really keep them in! I used to have a games pony who would jump out of the stable, and my stable doors arn't small! Hope J doesn't do anything too adventurous, little horror!!

Ha ha I recently spent weeks getting a little pony to jump confidently, now he has the run of the entire yard, all the fields and the next door farm's cornfields thanks to his new found jumping talent! never again!

lol! this has been my exact thoughts recently! have a 17.2 on box rest that was a show jumper untill he went lame, hes now got bored of being on box rest, so after barging out the stable door, he decided to jump the fence, only he had gone up a pathway about 3 foot wide, so had to jump it practically vertically and it didnt work... he took it with him!

My 14hh lami pony can jump anything when theres grass on the other side!!!! lol, hes a nightmare! hes fine in the summer, come winter we play 'what field will he be in today' games every morning!
