Is what I hear a lot!

I've got 5, 1 on loan 4 at home. I don't know why I have so many, 2 are babies and I can ride 2. I don't ride as often as I should, but I just love having them around and looking after them, they are in all honesty like my best mates. But I can't say that to people as they'll think I'm odd.

What do u say when people ask?

Tell them to mind their own business! As long as your horses are happy and healthy why should it matter to them.

1 x 3yr old having his holidays
1 x Broodmare due in May
1 x 10 month foal
1 x expensive field ornament - but super cute and a great babysitter
1 x pony to find a nice new home............any takers let me know!!

Haha because it gives me an excuse not to do anything I don't want to!? (sorry, would love to, but can't find anyone to look after the horses)

Seriously, I have them because I know their fates would haunt me if I sold them on ..... There are so many horror stories out there, and I can afford to keep them and look after them, so why not. What do people without horses do with their time anyway?

Coz one's retired and I owe her too much to just shoot her and the other 2 share the workload. The mention of shooting seems to get them off the subject.

In my life, if I didn't have horses, I'd be a miserable old moody grumpy and grouchy bat who'd have no friends cos I'd be so miserable!
Horses are my saviour. I've had them for my lifetime. They are part of my make up. No other way.

have one out on loan and four at home(for the kids :D) but none of them are going anywhere. I blame my parents for not letting me have more animals as a child:( We had a dog but I was a real animal lover and got two resuce cats the day I left home and now aswell as the equines ; 2 cats, 3 dogs, 15 sheep, 5 pigs and chucks, geese, turkeys and ducks oh and 3 ferrets.
