bad things always happen to good people?!!

No one could look after their horse better than my friend did and love him that way she did, yet he was still found dead in his field thismorning!

All those arseholes who mis-treat horses and dont look after them well never seem to suffer like us goodons that love our horses more than life its self!

My upset from thismorning seems to be turning in to anger now as I just dont unstand how life works!

hopefully the vet will be able to offer an explanation, as not knowing what killed him will keep ypu both wondering

i know how you feel , 2 years ago my mare suffered an horrific injury in the field , i was very luck i didn't find a dead horse

once the initial shock had subsided i was a mix of tearful & angry , why had this happened to my lovely horse , she didn't deserve it , i didn't deserve it

& to top it off she was the most wonderful patient , very patient & amenable despite the fact that she had a humongous amount of stitches & must have been in agony

years ago at the yard im on (before i was there) a horse died in the field. its owner was apparetnly not one to come up and check the creature, and when it was found it stank to high heaven, so it hadnt just died either
