Why don't manufacturers make proper heavyweight combo stable rugs ??

Been looking for this winter and you can get something like the WB Belmont heavy combo which is about 360g (which I have) but anyone who makes a heavier rug then doesn't have a neck !!! Really like the look of the new WB belmont extra heavy but its a standard neck

or the Rambo jumbo but it's only half neck and then no tail flap so he'd have a cold behind!!

surely when its cold enough to warrent an extra heavy rug you'd want a neck and tail flap on it !?? or is it just me ??!!

What does everyone else do in minus temperatures??

looking mainly as YO always gripes about layering as it means having to remove more than one rug when changing to turnouts ........... so wanted an all-in-one heavier stable with neck !!

Get YO to only take off top stable rug and then put on turnout. That way you can have your layers for more warmth. Thats what I do on my yard, my horses have a vest, summer sheet, fleece, under duvet and top rug, the top rug comes off in the morning and the outdoor rug goes on top, then I can put on more layers as weather gets colder.
