I'm going through a bit of a rough patch at the moment with family things. Had a stressful day because of it so decided to go for a hack tonight - que all stress gone, went for a lovely potter with my boy and his girlfriend and her rider. It's made me feel so much better.

I think I'd go mad without my horse fix!!

Im going through a particularly rough time at the moment too. I honestly don't know what I'd do without my two days a week with my loan horse. He's really poorly at the moment though.

One of my horses tricks is to give hugs, sometimes he does it without me asking, and at the best moments!

That is amazing!! how do you mean "hug" and how did you train him to do it??

Mine too, he hugs me all the time. I think, when he was a baby, he saw my old boy, cooper, doing that to me, and as cooper is pts, then he feels it's now his job too make me happy, so hence the hugs!!!!!!

I've been going through a really tough time too, for those of you who are not aware of my story.... In Feb this year, I lost my business due to the recession, House reprocess and have been declared bankcrupt.... Had to move away from home to find a house to accommodate my 3 dogs and the horse had to go, along with the trailer, 4x4 and every bit of my tack collection of 30 years.

I tried everything to keep hold of my horse. But totally helpless. She help me through the beginning of this nightmare, just wished she had been able to see my through. :-(

I am left with my hat and boots!

I dearly miss my horse and all that comes with being a horse owner.

Hopefully one day I will be able to rebuilt my horsey life - I miss it so much.

To say i'm depressed is an understatement....
