Spooks is driving me nuts with his wierd back arching, on top of that he has spent the past 2 weeks walking around with his eyes on stalks - partly because his back 'issue' (although i am still 65% certain that he is taking the p**s out of me!!) because i cannot ride him.
I got to the field last night for him to stand at the bottom of the field looking at me like i had just landed from outer space.
I am still trying to arrange for the McT lady to come out and see him to rule out any pain witht his back problem, I dont have any leave left, so she has very kindly offered to come up one evening and see him - but that will involve my OH coming up with me to wait (the stables are a bit remote) and the lights are powered by a generator, so he will need to come with me to move the generator away from the stables a bit - we dont want to gas anyone from having it running for so long too close to us!! And although he has said its ok to do it, I know he would rather not stand in field for hours on end playing with the money pit known as spooky. I have already had to ask him to take a half day off to have spooks shod just before xmas ass i have no leave left, and i to book spooks in for his jabs, so will have to tow him to the vets (i would have call out but they charge a fortune to come about 2 miles and i object to that when it costs us about £1 in fuel!!)
Plus you can guarantee that spooks will choose that night to play the 'what are you...an alien?!' game and not come near me.
I know - major rant, but sometimes these hobbies of ours just seem to no end of problems!!
