that the cats choose to catch spiders and leave them half chewed up all round the house??????

Seriously - I got home and had dinner and have been wandering around trying to sort the house out and I've so far found 5 spiders or partial spiders.

Why????? How to they know that OH is away til Friday?????

And yes I know I'm a wuss and that they're dead but the still freak me out . . !!

If its any consolation reading this post has just reminded me that I need to hoover the bedroom to get rid of bird feathers before I go to bed tonight. Think I'd prefer half chewed spiders, makes alot less mess.

I guess I'm lucky that I get spiders and not birds (well not yet!)

Though my friends cats caught a squirrel and left that in the middle of her lounge and she found a pigeon on the work surface in the kitchen by her toaster!! In a way I'm glad I don't have that but am happy to deal with most dead animals . . . .

But spiders . . . even when dead they just make me squirm.

May have to be brave and get the super long nozzle on the hoover. . .

At least they are dead - I'd be leaving the house and finding someone else to catch them if they were still moving!

Lol you're talking to the person who spent two weeks sleeping on the sofa because no-one could catch the spider which was in my room somewhere!

And STILL was paranoid it was going to 'find me' on the sofa. Pmsl.

Oh yep, I've been there refusing to go to sleep until someone finds the spider. And people saying 'well it's not there any more' !!! Doesn't help - where the **** is it???

Have also gone to the lengths of hoovering the beams, corners, roof rafters of my stables to get rid of cobwebs . . . .

I removed a HUGE spider from the bath and put him out in the garden. By the time I had put the dogs out and done bonios it was back on the bathroom door frame.

Do they have a homing instinct?

I decided to ignore it but when I went to bed there was another HUGE spider on my bedroom wall. I couldn't decide if it was the same one (couldn't quite read the tattoos on its arms!!) or if it was calling up reinforcements and was going to attack me and the spotty dog in our sleep.
