That when you talk about getting a dog, you get told all about the companionship, lowered blood pressure, healthy long walks, new friends etc BUT they never think to mention the rolling in decomposing corpses thing?

My hands are already starting to wither from the constant washing of the stinky dog... must be getting to winter then, everything's all moist and hence much stinkier

Oh Henry just luuuurves a bit of foxie poops, it's just that he hasn't found any recently - thank goodness!

ETA mind you, I don't envy you the job of getting fox poo out of your beautiful Newfie's coat! There's rather a lot of it, after all...

Ours was a decomposing deer head tonight, I couldnt work out what manner of strange creature was hoolying down the field towards me until I realised it was Obi with deer head and a very upset Harry trying to catch up!
