As some of you know i recently gave up riding my horse cos she is such a pain. Finally moved her to a nice yard where she is staying out 24/7, only did this on Sunday. On the way she did a whole lot of damage to the horse box so im having to claim through my insurance and now she is being such a pain in the arse at the new place i think im gonna have to move her again.
Im having some really nasty thoughts about her at the minute, why can't she just be normal and stop sending my blood pressure through the roof!!!

hi hun, sorry to hear shes still being a pain

Is she just causing trouble in the field? Is she out on her own or with others? x

She is with two other mares, one of which she knows very well from a previous yard. I think she is on a Regumate come down and it has sent her slightly loopy! I don't think it is just her, they are all pretty hormonal!!

Oh dear! Bear in mind it will take her a few weeks to settle at her new place...you don't say what she is doing to be such a pain???
Is she a stressy type normally, is there anything in her routine that could be changed to help her calm down a bit.
I also find that with my horse he very much reflects my mood and they are very perceptive at picking things up...try to be totally relaxed around her and do not go to the yard in a mood or tense because it will not help her either. Take some really deep and slow breaths when you feel yourself getting tense...seriously though...half my battles and problems stopped when I started to be calmer around him!

To be honest its not really her being naughty, its just it always seems to involve her!! They are just being horses having a run round. Im not worried about it but other people are!

Take a deep breath and ignore it.

If she's not damaging anything or anyone - then where's the problem? (aimed at them not you............)
