To cut a long story short, we have a NF pony with a stiffle injury so is only suitable for companion/light hack. Last year we put an advert up for a sharer who just wanted to have a plod about or for him to go out on loan, anyway we had a lady come along who was looking for a companion just for the winter so we thought perfect winter time we have 3 others I have a young daughter so I wouldn't have time to ride him anyway.
Well there is a girl up the stables who is leaving this weekend as she had just got her own land with a friend & she was after a companion/light hack so the girls up the yard mentioned Fly told her all about him etc & he is going to be going with her. So yesterday morning we all up the stables waiting for him to arrive home, turns out my mum got her days muddled up it was today he was coming back
. I didn't go up this morning, so mum calls me to say Fly has arrived back so fat that they can't believe he hasn't got lami he looks disgusting apparantley, she had to scream at the lady to slow down as she drove up the track with him like a looney as our track is so bad you have to crawl up it, all his travel boots had fallen off then to top it off she turns round to my mum to say I have forgotten all his bute 
, so mum has told her to post it asap. I then get a phone call of my mum to say I have had enough now as the lorry he leaving in won't start, the only bonus is the lady is so excited to be taking him & give him a nice pamper & he will only be 10 mins up the road 
Just had yet another call to say got lorry started we have now broken down as the exhaust has fallen of the lorry, mum sounds so fed up.
Why do nothing ever go to plan...
