Who the @8%* owns that child ...surprised and very loudly on an adults only yard. 18 month old had crawled through the very thick hedge from a property next door to the paddock and was happily playing in the sand while horses mooched about around her.
We had a TB who was a bit of an escape artist who got into our hay barn and planted his feet never to want to move them again.
He also got into the vegetable garden behind the stable when I left the gate open (with retired mare bleating frantically) and into the back garden when mr Reacher left the gate open (with retired mare hot on his heels).
He also lifted a padlocked gate off its hinges and went for a walk with retired mare in hot pursuit
A passer-by called in to report some of our horses were lying flat out in the field one sunny day, when she was told there were fine, just enjoying a snooze she looked at her watch and said "What at this time in the morning!" She obviously decided our horses were extremely lazy not to be up and about!
