Think it depends on what you consider not a lot is and are you willing to post! Have been watching a few of these saddles on ebay recently and most have sold, the ones on pick up only have a much more limited market. Would you PM me with details if you don't want to put on here please?

How much are you asking? Could maybe be a bit over-priced?

Print out copies of the advert and take them to all the tack shops near you to put on the noticeboards

You could also put an advert on the Pony Club branch that's nearest you, and on Riding Club websites

Nope, don't seem to be. I have 4 saddles I need to sell and two of them are lovely - an 18" Narrow Barnsby jumping saddle, and a 17.5" Medium, almost new Albion K2 GP. I've had no interest at all (apart from a scam buyer). I know they'll sell for a good price if I give them to a saddler, but one saddler quoted me 40% of the selling price, another 55%, which I thought was outragous, and a thrid saddle didn't want to take them as he's overstocked. So I've still got them.

TBH I wouldn't buy a saddle off the internet if I could'nt send it back if it didn't fit, which is why I think I've had no interest as I suspect a lot of people are like me?

My next stratergy is advertising them locally and offering to bring them round to check the fit before they buy.

There is a lady using ebay from Czech republic (i think) who imports saddles from the UK, she even has her own carrier who will collect from yourself or a Depot. I sold my 17" wide Brown Barnsby saddle to her, it was in really good nick but approx 8 yrs old i think i ended up with over £200. for it last year. She pays good money for them as aparently English saddles are a big thing over there, i cant remember her user name but i believe a few other people on here have sold to her also, maybe you could contact her see if she would be interested in them. I'm not 100% about synthetic's though, she may just be after leather ones.

I have just bought a brown wintec adjustable...barely used...off ebay for 102 quid.

OH bought a thorowgood inc leathers last year for about £50.

Whack it on ebay- someone will buy it, but most likely for less than you want. You can always stick a reserve on it.

house tidy think again just carfully place saddle in place wher there is no mess haha plus try not to keep any horse stuffin house if it is it lives in kitchen

You need to measure it from the centre of the cantle across at an angle to the stud on the side of the pommel.

These generally go for about 70-100 on ebay. Yours looks like one of the older ones - they had a nicer finish on the outside. They do make them differently now though, and my saddler says the fish are pretty useless and that he has so many of them kicking around he's going to think up an alternative use for them!

I'd stick it on ebay with a reserve of £65, work out postage, or put a 'make an offer' option on it, with a price of £100, and see what happens.
