Why oh why can't me horse be normal and a question just for once!!

Well have taken the plunge and decided to change ge beds to chopped rape straw. As I was sure that they might eat it a decided to buy the treated straw with eucalyptus oil. Was assured that the shouldn't eat it as it very bitter. Old ponio took a mouthful and spat it out everywhere. My cowface of greedy haffie walked in and started chomping. Now If you put anything in her feed she won't touch it.


My question is what can I give her to settle her gut as when I ride out on company? she poo's everywhere and it's projectile, stinks and very embarrassing. She won't eat her feed if I put anything in it!

Would she eat her feed with some mint on it? maybe that would settle her tummy?
Maybe put some eucalyptus on her feed for a little while to wean her back on to her normal feed?

What exactly are you feeding her?

well she has 1x scoop of hifi lite and 1 scoop of fast fiber, im trying giver her a calmer in her feed abut if there is any thing different to the above then she wont touch it.

I was going to say sprinkle stuff on her bedding

I used to use apple squash to disguise stuff added to feeds, usually works well
