Arghh I could scream!! My bf mali/gsd working dog had been very poorly so idiot here suggests that it could come live at home in the warm untill its better...well it was fine for 2 days and on the 3rd day i came down in the morning and it had eaten 3 books, chewed a can of febreeze and shredded a whole pile of washing!! I was so cross that i kicked him out back to the kennellls!!

Luckily i took the chi to bed or he could of been dinner!!

Pointless post i know but let this be a lesson to you all that there is a reason the bloody things have to be kept in a kennel!

oh dear!
Was meant to be a jokey thread!!! Never mind, im obviously clueless :D

Haha, we dont do jokey on here:D

I found a dog once late at night, no collar so took it in, it was skin and bone so I fed it and left it curled up by the fire as it was winter and snow outside. When I woke up the next morning I thought my god what is that smell, came down stairs and found out:eek: there was poo everywhere. The poor dog it was my fault for over doing the food, I rang the dog warden and reported it but kept her for a few days to feed her up but did it gradually and didnt get a repeat behaviour.

Its surprising just how much mess one dog can make.:D

Bless him! Glad he is feeling better now though and can go back to roughing it!!
Though with a broken boiler last week maybe he thought his kennell was warmer!!

Thing to remember with those types of dogs (my own included) they ALWAYS like to have something in their mouth. And if it's not a bone, ball, a tuggie, a sleeve or a bad guy's arm, they'll find something else - you can't argue with the genes :p

He will be coming after Xmas, we had some problems at home with a broken boiler ( not that that affects the dogs) and our hedge had to be cut back so we have had to re- fence down one side of garden. Also when big dog got sick I was glad other wasn't there as that would of been carnage!!!

Big dog is on the mend and happy back out in his house!

Haha defo sounds like something I would have done! Maybe have a huge crate on standby incase he's poorly again! Then he can't play the 'its there, so its fair game' card - my lurcher plays that card for anything that she can reach..... Which only leaves the fridge and high cupboards!!! Grrrr!
