got some :D
4 smb ventech elite boots and bell boots plus delivery from the states for £110

compare this with derby house: £210.40 & £16 & delivery = £235 approx
:D

I wanted to order something from the US (PJs actually!!) and they said they wouldn't ship to the UK; I emailed to ask if they could make an exception and they said no. I have a few friends and relatives over there, so have arranged for the package to be delivered to someone I know and she is going to post it on! Still worth it.

Do you have anyone who could do that for you? It would still be cheaper, probably?

Don't forget that you will have to pay duty & VAT on import as well as a handling charge to the carrier to collect said taxes - I'm afraid that wipes out a lot of the difference. My eldest son got caught out ordering a band hoody that he couldn't get in the UK - he ended up paying about 50% more just to be able to collect the thing from the PO.

I bought some Ariat Grassmere boots from the States - the 'hidden' import duty wiped out any saving I'd made. They'll get you one way or another!!!
