Only reason I ask is that I bought one today LOL! Mare is usually ridden in a french link full cheek, and a thin one as she has very little room in her mouth, but I saw this, and liked it, and wondered who should be using it - she certainly didn't mouth it or play with the roller, so it is a purely out of interest post!

And you didn't buy one from me... tut tut!!

Bit has the following features:
Full cheeks for steering
Double joint on a dog bone link to avoid nutcracker action
Copper roller to both improve mouthing ability of bit and for the horse to play with (it spins)

Useful for any horse with lack of space in the mouth, who might require pacifier, therefore suited to the busy mouthed type.

I HAVE ordered that bit from you young lady!!!

Well she doesn't need any type of pacifier - pacify her anymore and she will go to sleep

Just thought it might stop her holding and give her more mouthing - however hacking today in it she was as normal - it is pretty tho

Looks quite myler-esque.

I'd probably go for the same but in german silver if I could get it (if not a lozenge, but I doubt that would do much for her holding).

I can't see it either.... but it sounds like you are doing what I am - buying many bits LOL...

My latest *mistake* was a KK ultra RS Dynamic... which my horse doesn't go better in - he actually is worse than in the Demi Anky I got him the week before

I want to see the bit! What does it look like?

KatB mentioned that one to me as a possible for my boy. Do really think it would be ideal for him but they dont do a 5.25" one. The 5" will be too small and the 5.5 too big, now I remember why I buy NS bits!

ET remove broken link, will try again

Voilá, Sparks was in one - loved it but not dressage legal so we have the same with a lozenge instead of the roller
