Sorry it's a happy post (not something you see much of on here!) but I just want to say how very very proud my best friend and I are of our shire x this lunchtime.
He's just had his first clip since we've owned him and he was as good as gold even though he was worried about it. He is incredibly sensitive for such a big lad but because he now trusts us, he listens rather than just panicking.
When we got him he barged, dragged, bit and planted his feet but he is not a nasty horse, he just needed direction in a firm but fair way and we're now there
)
We both love him very much, he is such a character and a real pleasure to care for and ride!
