Why must I have to shoot deer which I flush away from my copse with my dogs? I like deer, but I like my copse too? The House of Lords have ruled that it is illegal not to shoot the flushed deer. It is the law. Has the world gone raving mad????????

Are you sure? The law would certainly be that you cannot allow the dogs who flush the deer to chase or kill it. But if it says that you must shoot any deer flushed by dogs - intentionally or otherwise - then wouldn't all dog walkers have to carry guns?

Yes I am sure. The law states absolutely clearly that it is a criminal offence to flush deer from your copse without killing the animals. This interpretation was specifically confirmed in the House of Lords. I have tried umpteen times to persuade the local police to arrest me but they're not interested.
