Why are all the havana ones too narrow, big, ugly, or really expensive?

Took me ages to get a brown saddle for DP that fit him. It's a K&M and I don't actually like it very much but short of having a saddle made to measure the choice was pants.

Exactly the same width I needed but in a 17 inch. They seem to be as rare as hens teeth and I can't see why.

I agree! I needed the same for my pony so had a saddle company cob saddle until she was fully grown, then a local saddler made her one for £800 which although a lot of money, I thought it was cheap for a m2m. I chose the style, colour and things like knee blocks etc.
