Having a little internal argument at the mo. As you know the vet has given D the all clear to jump again as of the end of November. Fantastic!

But I don't know if I want to risk him

I love competing him and dressage is fun but I know he loves jumping as much as I do.

Do I give it a bash and pray he stays sound or give him to Mum for stressaging. I want to event him again but would rather he hacke/stressaged for 5 years than evented for 1.

I owe him everything.

He is 12 & was diagnosed with arthritis in the coffin joint in August.

Well vet all cleared it, so how about mum stressaging him for winter and then you see how he shapes up over a small course early spring?

Can you not just play around and see how well he feels? Wonderful thing about this time of year is everything is on a surface so guess no issues about ground conditions. I would play and see how he feels. I am sure he will tell you.

Do what you feel is best for him. If you want to leave it a bit longer than I personally would - just to be safe

thanks guys think we will start jumping again on a surface at start of December & take things slowly & see how we go.

Thanks
