Saddler just been and guess what - needed a new dressage saddle. Old was was too wide

!!! Anyway obviously now want to rehome it so was going to put it on ebay. Now I know there have been a couple of posts recently about selling saddles on ebay but I didn't read them........

It's probably too late now but is it possible to PX it for the replacement saddle? I think that's the way to get the best deal. Have you come across saddlesdirect website? It may be less risky than eBay and has had good reviews (but I haven't used it myself).

You don't say what make your saddle is, but the local agent for that make may also get a better price, and should be willing to sell it.
 
It's currently free to advertise on the BD website. I'm (all fingers crossed so typing difficult

) in the process of selling mine that way, and it's only been up on the site a week. You're reaching the right market at least.
 
I was going to say BD website too.
I put a saddle on their last night and someone is sending me a cheque for it already!
