Wide fit boots for a shortie!

Hi all,

I'm after some recommendations please. I usually ride in short boots and half chaps but I'd like to have a long pair too. I've got quite a wide foot (not a wide calf) and find a lot of boots make my little toes go numb so something with a slightly squarer front, rather than very rounded, would be ideal.

I'm also 5'4'' but my legs are very short so I find some long boots dig into the back of my knee when I bend my leg.

To add another layer, I broke my ankle a few years ago and have metal in there so something with a zip for ease of getting them on and off would be essential (the pulling off of a boot without a zip is agony which is why my old long boots got the bin). Something with a bit of flexibility around the ankle (not too rigid) would be great. I don't ask for much! ?

Ideally something on the more budget end of the scale would be ideal but I don't mind investing if they are good quality and comfortable. I'm not too fussed on style/colour etc. Obviously I will need to do a lot of trying on so just looking for some ideas of where to start!

Thank you ?
