Slightly larger lady requires wider fitting fly rug! :eek:

She's got a Weatherbeeta but it's a bit tight around the neck and chest.

Thanks for your ideas, that's if you have any :D
 
You could try blue horse equine they have a web site and cater for biggies I think there is another company called big horse you would have to google them as I am on my mobile and its a bit slow.:o

I would normally agree with that, but the one I have just bought is a bit tight and rubs so not sure if they have changed their sizing, but saying that would still be more generous than a weatherbeeta :)
 
Just got my RID youngster a WB fly rug in 6'9" (same size as her winter turnout which is roomy enough) but it's far too tight on her neck, shoulders and across her withers and hips. Have to say I'm really disappointed with it and it's back in the bag after having been on her for half an hour . Although my horse is a full ID she's still young and certainly not built like a tank (will be in a few years). Interesting to hear I'm not the only one who has had probs with fly rug sizing.
 
If you already have the rug you can buy an extension piece that fits into the front, I got one for my mare, she has 6'9'' rugs but a really wide chest and 7' rugs just fall back. Think I got one made by shires equestrian.
 
I had a shires on My x x x w cob last year fitten him well. I did go an extra rug size up though. I have found rambo sweet itch hoody a bit tight on my girl her second one is 6ft and fits better shes always been a 5ft 9x
