When i first got Hemir he was a nightmare when he saw a tractor....spinning, bucking, rearing...etc! But we worked through it and the last time i rode we were cantering as a tractor came round the corner on the road next to us....and he didn't even bat an eylid!

But yesterday my mum and i took the horses out for a walk (bearing in mind Hemir hasn't been out for 2 weeks!) and a tractor came past us (he had allready heard/seen it!)....And as it went past Hemir jumped, nearly landed on me then proceded to spin round, and got all huffy and puffy! then settled down and started eating again!

Is this just him playing up as he's just been in the field for 2 weeks?

thanks
xx

Funny aren't they? Sometimes my horse is terrified of being ridden and having her left ear touched, other times both are fine, no problem to her??!! Horses just aren't logical animals I'm afraid, although if they were they probably wouldn't be so willing to carry us around at all. I think my horse is stranger than most, do you want to join my club?
