Ahh the opinions of non-horsey people!

Anyone else watching?

Hmmm, didnt like either of the women!
I could kind of see her point though...she had 7 kids and couldnt really afford the horse...and IMO if she decided to have 7 kids, them and their needs should come first..I love my horses as much as anyone on here but if keeping them meant not being able to afford things for my kids they would be the first things i would cut down on. I know we dont know the full situation but thats my take on it!!

I watched it this morning and I thought the mother of 7 was a far nicer person, the other woman was awful. I was stunned though when she said she was paying £3k for that pony and none of them could ride.

I actually thought the mother with the 7 kids was a far more genuine loving mother than the other one(called Tori). I thought that Tori was a condesending, patronising bitch, she walked round that shopping centre slagging off the shops, saying they were cheap, budget, credit crunch shops. And slated the other lady for living on a council estate, so what if she lived on a council estate at least her kids had a loving mother, and were happy and could entertain themselves. That Toris kids had no interaction with their Mother or Father in the evening, they were just glued to a computer screen, no wonder the youngest child had some learning issues, his Mother gave nothing in the way of attention to him. Rant over!!!

I disliked Tori all the way through and then at the end when she said she didn't learn anything from the experience because it was the 'bad side of the fence', I felt like stabbing her in the eyes! She felt she could only learn from people who are multi-millionnaires, presumably as that would teach her how to aquire greater wealth and more material possessions. What she failed to realise was that she could have learned a lot from the family she was sent to if she'd just wiped the crap out of her eyes... compassion, warmth, love, togetherness, doing things for others and not just yourself.

I felt so sorry for the mother with the 7 kids, when both couples met round the table.

She shouted at the camera that she didn't want the programme to portray her/her family in a bad light.

Well, I thought her kids and husband were lovely. Well mannered, respectful.

Whether she should or shouldn't buy the horse, who knows, who cares.

Perhaps instead of slagging her off all the way, the rich mans' wife could've put her hand in her pocket and bought the pony for the family by way of apology for being so darn rude!
