Wild card for Wayne

Wayne Channon, who was 15th in the Western European League, was yesterday awarded the wild card in that League for the World Cup Final next month. He was fortunate in tha several other riders are not going to travel to Las Vegas as they wish to peak for the European Championships. Laura B evidently did not want one as she will be concentrating on finishing her academic studies.
