wild dice brewes

No info I'm afraid, looks a nice type, his stock seem to be pretty average nothing I know of that's done anything outstanding (am prepared to be corrected if there is!) but I don't like line breeding which he is a product of on dam side. Dam is the product of a father/daughter mating so I rule out solely on that, but it's my personal choice.....

ahhh that makes sense as to why the fee is soo cheap! i cant seem to find what he has actually done either???????????????????

regardless of the double Atlantus input the mare line is a good one. I had an AA Bewes son who was fabulous but I sadly lost him at 22 months. One of my mares is his cousin, out of Whisperer Bewes who is by Dice's sire Wild Card and out of Allegiance (Dice's grand dam).

Dice's Dam AA is a Select Studbook mare and consistently bred high quality foals. I know that Dice was out competing at one point but his breeder felt he was not being progressed as he was capable of. Last I heard, 2 years ago, he was at the stud full time so it shouldn't be held against him that he hasn't done much more - he was BWBS Class and Supreme Champion in 2000 at the age of 2. It could be a case of lack of production here rather than lack of ability.

I have found some offspring by Dice here - the black mare and black colt are lovely. There are likely more on there I imagine

Fascinated by this thread as I did holiday cover at the Bewes Stud, years ago. Can't help with opinions on the stallion, but I remember Dice, AA, and Whisperer, as well as many others. Dice was a 2 year old and Whisperer was only a foal when I was there.

Sorry, useless response, but I have fond memories of the place, and the horses :)

ive managed to find a very little competition record on him and it apears that with a very competant rider he only managed some average novice scores, with a couple of 70% ish from what i can see???? Has he not done anything other than novice dressage?????

Thank you Lynne
As Dices owner shall I put the record straight. I bought Dice as a yearling from Ann Haydon, Bewes Stud. He came straight to me and was not at Ann's as a two year old. I had Dice produced and Licensed with the BWBS and where he was The Supreme Champion. He was then sent to Germany came back to compete in England. I sent him to a yard where he was ridden and lightly competed, winning and achieving regional qualifiers and good scores. He was also at home with me for stud duties so wasn't given the opportunity to compete full time.
Due to my own reasons mainly Divorce I decided to bring Dice home as financially it was not viable so that is the reason he hasn't competed to an high level. It isn't due to him not having the ability.
Dice has had very few progeny, due to the fact that I am a small stud and I have not apart from last year stood him at public stud. His offspring however are very successful. Competing winning both the Regional's and then placed at the Nationals. He has offspring competing at medium level.
They also BSJA and are winning and qualifying in all fields. Dice has also produced graded stallions and graded mares.
His temperament is second to none as are his progeny.
If u wish to view his progeny please look at my Facebook page as my website for some reason is currently down.
Waterlands park warmblood horses is my face book page.
