For the last few weeks theres been a bunny living in the bush next to my fence, Just the one, all on his own

He lounges around my field with my girls quite happily

But the last few days hes been approaching me! Coming right up to my feet and just nibbling away at the grass, no fear whatsoever, i thought at first maybe hes got myxi but that wouldnt explain why he activly seeks me out?? And he doesnt look ill at all.

Hes def wild, as you can tell from the picture .. we have hundreds of bunnies at our yard as the yard owner wont kill anything on his land (RATS INCLUDED :@!) lol so maybe hes just never learnt to fear humans, he doesnt do this with my mum though!

I have a pet bunny, and ive never had a problem with bunnies that are said to be nasty, they just seem to mellow out around me :P And i caught a escaped pet bunny on a 50 acre farm lol.

Hes a very sweet little fellow

Anyone ever come across a friendly but 100% wild animal?

(Will post pic later, photobucket not co-operating!)

It wasn't exactly friendly, it didn't have much choice. Once, I heard my dog going mental in the garden at night so I went out to see what he was barking at. It was a tiny hedgehog stuck in the strawberry netting. I got some scissors & went down to try to free the poor thing but all his prickles were stuck in it, so I had to take him back to the house to try to get the rest of the netting off his spines.

The little thing was so cute. I popped him back in the garden later that night, after offering him some dog food and bits and pieces of veg from the garden.

Never had any experience with rabbits though. although I do often see deer when i'm out hacking and apart from when they spook the horses, they are lovely!
