A Recent study comparing two farms in devon have shown how much more effective and welfare freindly the methods of wildlife control LACS propose are.

Farm A uses dispersal by dogs. Now totally illegal under the Hunting Act. No animals have been killed by this method but there has been the odd accidental chase resulting in horrendous cruelty.

Farm B has a gamekeeper who lamps all the foxes. Last year FORTY foxes were shot on 500 acres. Probably at least 1 out of ten of these were merely wonded and suffered slow lingering deaths quite possibly more.

Exmoor Loves Blair a LACS representative who pretends to live in Simonsbath commented: 'This just shows what we have been saying all along. A slow lingering death from a shot gun wound is obviously preferable to a short chase.' 'Farm B is using the modern effective efficient and indiscriminate and above all LEGAL control methods.' 'He's showing respect for the environment and fpr the wild animals.'

Farmer A, an extremist comented. 'But my methods cause less suffering'

'That's got nothing to do with animal welfare.' Replies Exmoor Loves Blair 'You are using a cruel and barbaric methods of wildlife control.' 'It's time it was made clear that you are not above the law.' 'You should be prosecuted and your dogs destroyed by the state.' 'This isn't about animal welfare its about respect for the law.' 'Letting animals escape is illegal, you must start shooting them. Do the decent thing obey the law.'

'What about all the black and white foxes I kill.' Says the gamekeeper.

'Eh?' says Exmoor Loves Blair.
