Has anyone used one? What are they like and where can you find one? Its was suggested to me by a friend but cant seem to find any information about them. Ok I mean wilkie, I must be tired sorry guys....

these are very popular for all types and tthere are differant types of this bit i have a standard one with french link and a magic mouth one my mare who is very difficult to bit is very very happy in hers as is our stallion ,safe to say i really rate them ,only available from fylde saddlery there are copies but the rings are slightley different to the real thing but they are ok too just not as effective hope this helps .

I used one on my old pony for a short time that used to like sticking his head between his knees and then letting out a series of bucks. It has some poll action (which is why it is not BD legal) so aids with leverage. We were advised to use it by a PC mum who was into showing (they are very popular in the show ring). It did work for my pony and we didn't need to use it for long time before swapping back to his normal snaffle.
