Yes, me too, No friends are chucking paties this year. I refuse point blank to go into town with al the Yobbo's and Yahoo's. People get stabbed nearly every weekend lately, So bugger that for a game of soldiers.

So a few drinks and a bottle of champers at home. Can check the neds when the neighbours a mile and a half down the road let their annual illegal bangers off.

Last year we (3 sons, husband & I) stayed in and did new year around the world. Started at about 4-5o'clock and followed the news.

Every time an area of the world celebreted the new year, we took a drink or two relevent to the country
Russia= vodka
Mexico - Tequila
Ausralia = fosters lager
Japan = saki
etc.

We also played the fuzzy duck game. I'm not very good at it
