Go on then, how many of you read the title wrong ;)

I am looking at an ID/TB filly who is expected to make 16.2

My last horse was 16.2 but more TB/Sportshorse and I had no difficulties at all but this filly is going to be a bit bulkier and I don't know if I will look a bit overhorsed as she is more substantial.

I am 5' and about 9 1/2 stone, like I say I didn't feel underhorsed before, but am feeling a bit worried by this.

If you are a confident rider I'm sure you will be fine; I rode a 16.3hh ID X TB when I was 16, I was around 4'11 and between 7 and 7.5 stone at the time and he was fine. I think it depends on the individual horse; I've ridden 13hh ponies that were really strong! :)

You can't look worse than i do when i ride Bruno. :D
OH said to someone a few years back " thats the furthest she's had her legs apart for a long time!"

Do you know somebody who has a horse of the same stamp you could try? To see if you fit. ;)

P - you and I are very similar in size and build and you've seen me riding my mare - we get on just great (or used to before her injury :( )

But I was just wondering, aren't you itching to get something that you can leap on and go with? Star was such a beautiful horse and totally irreplaceable I know but wouldn't a horse you can ride now be more fun for you?

Please tell me to bog off and mind my own business though :p
