Will I be Too heavy

I have just got my pony back 11hh welshie, I have decided to keep him and hopefully back him so that neices and nephews can ride him. Just dont know if I am a tad heavy 8st 12lbs just want me to be the first one on in case he throws a wobbly.

well, i rode a 11.2hh when I was about 9 1/2 stone. it depends on his bone really. Is he stocky? Being a welshie, he should be fine.

I don't know how many stone I am ;_; Stupid new-fangled scales do it all in KG. I'm 47kg. And I ride a 13hh highland pony. But then, he's built like a house brick.

No you be fine. I'm normally (had baby so bit heavier at present) 9st - 9.5st and ride 12-13-2hh ponies and feel fine, you dont have to ride them for long 1hr at most. should be ok. Natives are very strong. A shetland can carry a mans weight.
