Will i beable to get away without being penalised?

I am doing ridden novice and inhand cob on sunday i have a flat bridle ect will i get away riding in a waterford which has loose rings at the end or will i be peanlised?

I dont see why you should be penalised... It is a snaffle at the end of the day, its just the mouthpiece which is the waterford part...

Go with what you & your horse are used to and comfortable in, there will be plenty other with various bit combinations!

a waterford is not a bit for a novice horse class. unless its a tiny local class. you may then get away with it.
