It gets reeeeally cold like some people are predicting? I know it gets said every year "it's going to be the worst one ever" but I would rather be prepared if I need to be than not.
The ponies in questions are my two mini foals, both 6 months and have excellent winter coats - they remind me of little bears
At the mo they live out 24/7 nekkid in all weathers and are very happy, but I'm worrying about if its get down to -10 or so, will they need to be rugged then?
This isn't meant to spark a debate, just me asking a genuine question! This is my first winter with them and I'd like to be prepared! I already have one 200gm fill rug which I bought as it was going cheap but I will buy another if I need to, I'd rather have them ready and if I don't end up needing them I'll sell them come spring
