Will it stop for just one day?

Tomorrow is our day in the SE, apparently. I mean, I'm at work, but hurrah and all that. Even my laid back cob was grumpy this morning (they're in the middle of 5 day Panacur, which doesn't help!).

I shouldnt laugh but....................
I know, we were hoping to see the end of the hosepipe ban tbh, as we've got some power washing to do etc etc - still waiting from July last year. They'll probably lift it in June, then put a new one on place for July. ☔

Btw. I meant to say that we're in Kent, and on the border between two water authorities. Other people in our village are on the same mains infrastructure, and no hosepipe ban. 😟

We're near Manchester, supposedly the wettest place in England, but we hardly ever seem to get the extreme weather everyone else talks about.

I was put off moving here due to the reputation but frequent grey days and drizzle more often than not is much better than storms and flooding.

Same here but I am consoling myself it is forecast light rain/drizzle for as far as I can see out on the forecast and not the torrential downpours we have been having. Surely just a few more weeks and it's got to take a turn 😬

Yeah pretty fed up of this weather. We moved this year & are looking to swap our cheap banger dog car out for an equivalent banger 4x4 for next winter due to the amount of flooded roads here. Yesterday was nice and gave me hope but today was back to the norm. So many jobs to do outside and can’t get a run of a few dry days to complete them, so frustrating!
