Will the dentist do anything do you think?

New boy had vet out for his pre vacc yesterday (sods law- came in today with v nasty kick wound on back fetlock- swollen and cut bordering vet call out... going to reassess in the morning), asked vet to check his age by his teeth while he was there...

Held my breath while he had a look as my neds history isn't known.... but he aged him at the age I was told he was

BUT he pointed out that he has a tiny baby tooth (can't believe I never noticed it) which should have come out years ago stuck between his adult front teeth causing him discomfort because his teeth don't fit where they are supposed to!

Dentist is out next week... will he want to remove the baby tooth or just leave it?

I would imagine it depends on how easy it would be to remove and the effect that removing it would have on the other teeth around it. Does he show signs of discomfort or not?

He's not happy in his mouth at all with the snaffle he came in... better in a different bit- but don't think front teeth would affect bit comfort anyway?

Depends on age and if your riding him and if the bit seems to cause problems etc... I dont think he will move it if its not causing a problem and is not rotten
