i am considering letting my horse have the rest of her paddock as it was split in two for the winter. There is not much on the side she is on now and i was wandeing if i let her on the other side is it likely to send her loopy. In other words is there much sugars in the grass now - i know normally there wouldnt be but what with the mild weather we had. So, do i or dont i?:)

I have 6 Half acre paddocks and my boys change into a new one every 4 weeks through the winter , the two I have already used and rested have shown a little regrowth but I dont expect any problems moving them on this week , just means I dont put hay out til they have eaten it down a bit . Hard to tell if it makes them loopy , they are a bit loopy most of the time : )

Ours were moved on to a rested field last weekend. Quite a bit of grass, the only problem is they aren't as keen to come in! No loopy moments at all.
