its hard to get a feeling of the real statistics of who really wants to over turn the ban...some reports swing the anti favour and others swing in the pro hunt favour..

what your feeling on it all..do you think the ban will ever be abe to be over turned?

The Hunting Act needs to be repealed because it is bad law. It is ambiguous, self-contradictory, arbitrary and almost impossible for the Police and the Crown Prosecution Service to enforce.

Regardless of one's stance on animal welfare issues, these are ample reasons why the Act must - and almost definitely will - go.

HEAR, HEAR.
If everyone who actually hunts - or supports Hunting, votes for the Conservatives at the next Election, then hopefully, we will all be "back to normal" by the Opening Meet in 2010.

But wouldn't an unworklable act be a better proposition than removing it which then paves the way for a much tougher and better thought out act to be brought in at a later date?
Short term gain vs long term loss?

With all respect it isn't the general hunting field that have to bear the brunt of the Act. Your hunt staff and masters will be under huge pressure to ensure that they are complying with the law, and even then can be subject to arrest and prosecutions. No question in my mind this bad law has got to go.
