William FoxPitt - Rolex Grand slam - Badminton cancelled

Just had a thought - how does that leave WFP, being that he has won two legs of the Rolex grand slam? Will Badminton be on later in the year, or cancelled for 2012 altogether? And if cancelled altogether, does that mean he will miss his chance of the 250k?

Sorry for dumb question, just wondering really. WFP must be gutted.

i would think that if it isnt run later in the year they would let him have it if he won it next year, as it would still be three consecutive wins?

With the Olympics coming up I doubt there will be a chance for badminton to run later on. Maybe if he gets Burghley again they'll let him have it?

Badders won't be rescheduled, A rumor states Rolex has confirmed that the grand slam must be won over different competitions therefore WFP shall have to wait until 2013 and the others will be carried over. Unfortunate that Badders has had to be cancelled, but safety is paramount.
