Wilts - Livery yards in the Calne/Marlborough/Devizes area

I am really hoping we wont have to move, but it looks likely

If anyone has any recommendations I would be very grateful! I'd be looking for DIY livery, must have individual turnout and good hacking. Money no object - it must be the right yard.

I think, after what has happened, that I will only look for somewhere she can be on her own when turned out. It has taken a long time to integrate her with the other horses as she is naturally quite mareish herself; I think the fact that she has refused to be submissive like the others is part of the reason why she's now been hurt - she doesnt kick back, she just stands her ground too well

Current yard just dont do individual turnout at all, not for anyone. I will talk to my YO tonight, but I cant imagine for a second it will happen for me, when two other liveries have all been told they cant have it in the past

It's a difficult one. I like mine to have company but sometimes it's a nightmare when things kick off. Fortunately I haven't been in the position where things got so bad I needed a vet.

I hope Ellie recovers soon and that you find somewhere suitable for both you and her.

I just had a feeling something was going to happen. This is now the third time Ellie has been kicked by this mare (but the only time it has made a mark - unfortunately a big one

) I keep kicking myself for not doing something before, but then I guess you do have to let them just get on with it to a certain extent. I have loved having her out with a group, but I just cant cope with the risk of her being out with a horse that kicks
