4 Stables abailable for DIY livery, not sure what is a fair DIY rate? We have turnout but quite wet from dec - feb, so limited but excellent stables all with rubber matting and also vet living onsite ! Don't want to supply hay, will buy in shavings/ feed straw etc.... We also have a 40x 20 outdoor menage and an internal round pen for lunging, so plenty of winter facilities, but what is going rate in our area, we have said 30 pw but is this too little?

Hi,

Do you mean the livery's can buy shavings/straw and feed from you?

I think £30 a week is good, if a little too exspensive as opposed to not asking enough - I think the going rate is about £25 for what you are offering.

I used to be at a yard quite close by to you for £35 a week but it had much better facilities, i.e indoor school, huge massive floodlit outdoor school, walker you can use whenever you want and turnout all year. Plus you could buy hay/straw from the yard.

The limited turnout is the downside as personally I still want to turn out come winter and having good stables is not my priority but there are plenty of people who don't think like me so I am sure you wont have any problems there.
