It's pretty windy here at the moment and forecast says 19mph tomorrow. I am meant to be travelling to the vets for x-ray scans tomorrow which is about 1 hour away, mostly motorway but some lanes in fairly open, flat areas. Is this wind speed safe for a car and trailer? I've done a search but struggling to find any recommendations. I'm probably worrying too much (I'm pretty sure I remember competing in worse) :o but I just want a really smooth run so she doesn't have to put any extra pressure on her leg... Thank you :)

I've just checked and its 15mph here at the moment! and when I took my mare to the vets it was a lot lot lot windier than it is now, and the trailer was absolutely brilliant, I was worried but she needed to go in, we went 40mins and dual carriage ways to get there! so I think you'll be fine!

Good luck with the xray

19/20mph is about my limit towing with trailer, I did have a scary moment @ Croften back in July as the wind just got worse and I nearly went into panic mode.............but I don't know why I worried as trailer was fine - its just about being sensible.
