wind sucking????

Would you buy a horse that wind sucks, and for those who have did you have trouble finding them a yard?

There is a lovely horse I have seen who would be perfect for me, but my aunty says 'you will never get a yard to take him'

hmmmmmmmmmmmm tough one as I have had some wind suckers come through the yards I have run who were fine and one that it gave colic to on numerous occasions due to stomach ulcers

I'm happy to take liveries with all sorts of vices and I know quite a few yard owners just like me.

I know my first choice yard wouldnt take him. he has been seen to do it only occasionally and in every other aspect he fine. its just finding understanding YO in South Yorkshire.

Sorry, I don't actually know anybody in South Yorkshire, if you want to relocate to South Lincolnshire however, I have spaces

I have a wind sucker and we have been on 2 yards with no problems.

I wouldn't be put off buying a windsucker - have known a few yards discriminate against them, but find they are the minority.

Why not ring a few yards in your area and ask if they would take a windsucker - at least you then know if you do go ahead and view this horse what your options are as to where to keep it.
