So my mare has windgalls, little by little she is falling apart, threatened to sell her splint, colic and now windgalls in both hinds
Shes not being sold. I have just accepted that I will be poor forever and keep her... Shes too much fun.
Her only supplements are gut balancer after a sand colic last month and biotin. She will go back on pink powder once gut balancer runs out as that what she is normally on.
Fed grass nuts and straw chaff. Gets soaked hay and limited grazing (good doer).
I know global herbs does a windgall supplement is it worth it? Any experiences with it?
I have put magnet boots on over night (shes out) and see it makes any difference over next few days.
My other thought was just adding turmeric to her feed, its in the windgall supplement.
I was always so anti-supplement until I found pink powder and saw such a big difference in her.
