Windgalls

Hi there,
Does anyone out there, know what I can do about windgalls on the back legs, and any advice for show day

How long have your windgalls been established?

Wingalls normally appear due to a problem elsewhere i.e joint/foot problem. But not always. Do you notice it more when the horse is stabled, as they normally go down after exercise?

Bandage. Stable bandages then exercise bandages.

They have been on one back leg for approximately 2 years,

No It appears to be their all the time

I had a similar problem which went undiagnosed by one vet who told me it 'was just a wind gall'. Got another vet to scan and found a hole in her SDFT.

Until you get it scanned you wont know what is going on in there.
