A windgall (or what I believe is a windgall anyway) has just appeared on one of my horses hind legs.
Im guessing its appearance is due to the warmer weather, harder ground an upping his work?
Anyway, was doing my research and I am a bit worried because they normally come up in like symmetrical pairs in the hind legs dont they? And he just has one on one leg.
Is there anything I should do to try to take the swelling down like cold hosing or a supportive/magnetic boot? Or any joint / windgall supplements?
Or should I get the vet out to make sure, or am I over reacting?
Will post a picture of it when I get one later on.
