window shopping the horse ads

c'mon own up, how many hours do you spend each week just looking through the for sale ads
When i was searching for daughters pony it could easily take me 2 hours a day and now i just can't seem to break the habit lol, although i now just limit myself to looking at weekends
So far today i've found 3 horses and at least 5 foals that i 'want' lol one of them was free to a good home so i'm just wondering how i could sneak another one in without hubby knowing or noticing do you think he'd believe me if i said it just appeared overnight

Yes I spend a fair bit of time each week looking, partly being nosey and seeing who's selling horses in the local area, and also just wishful thinking of owning another horse, which will not happen

It does become addictive, me thinks

Yes i do it to every thursday when the horse and hound comes and i regularly check horsemart see if theres anythin i know for sale

yes, nearly every day to see what's out there on the market. I can definatly say I usually end up with a list of them that I want, lol. But saying that I wouldnt swap the ones I have, just out of noseyness really

Every day but I'm looking for a reason, slim pickings at the moment though or some just seem way over priced, very strange the horse market at the moment.

I do it when work's a bit quiet. I also search for horses very similar to mine just to check what he's worth, not that I'm ever going to sell him!

I spend all my spare time - which is a lot as I'm horseless at the moment...........

Yesterday (Sunday) approximately 13 hours!!! - about average for the weekends.

Hopefully in the next 6 months, I'll be able to shop for real!

However I HATE the real thing which I am just starting as my old boy is off to horse heaven on Wednesday( sob sob).

I've chosen two rather nice QH fillies - just got to put plan A into action - lottery tomorrow! (Then go to plan B - lottery Wednesday, Plan C - lottery Friday etc...........)

Yes constantly! Which is probably why I never seem to get much done in a day. But yes I agree, the real thing is much more stressful!

Yes even here in NZ I have been wasting time looking and dreaming....horses so so so cheap here at the moment. It's winter and everyone is really broke with our super high dollar. I could replace my farm pony ( not that I will) with a graded dressage, or experienced show-jumper, or eventer for the same price I paid for farm pony a year ago!
