windows movie maker,,,, HELP

Can anyone help me please i have a new lap top and i have WMM installed on it but it is a new version and i havent got a bloomin clue how to use it... :-/

Can i get the old one back and does anyone know how and where i can get it from??

There should be help through microsoft on the web. would have thought most of the basic functions are the same
