What mph winds would be your max for driving to a local competition? Supposed to be at dressage tom ten ish miles away on local roads but wind is forecast at approx 17mph, will be in tall 7.5t and was wondering if that would be ok? Would obviously go slower than normal but not done much driving in the wind so wanted some opinions? Thanks

I would think you would be fine, but watch out for the gusts.

E.T.A. It was a long time ago I drove anything that big only drive a 4ton motorhome now. I'm sure others with current knowledge will be more informative.

Is it A roads or B roads?

If B roads max 50 dual carriageway or single, I would stick to 40mph dropping to 35 ish on A roads or keep below what ever the speed limit is. Keep calm make sure you slow down in ample time and pull away slowly, what I am saying is think ahead take longer over the maneuvers keep both hands on the wheel. Its quite scary when the wind pounds the side making it wobble you will be fine.:)

17mph is not bad at all and shouldn't cause you any probs, although as has been said, be aware that the gusts may be more and be ready to gently correct should you get buffeted.
